Communications Specialist - Work from home

Job Description:

Freddie Mac, a leading mortgage finance company, is seeking a talented Communications Specialist to join our team in San Jose, California as a remote, part-time associate. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in communications and possess a driven and passionate personality. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing communication strategies to effectively convey our organization's message to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities: - Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to enhance Freddie Mac's brand and reputation - Write and edit a variety of communications materials, including press releases, blog posts, and social media content - Liaise with internal teams to gather information and ensure consistent messaging - Conduct research and analyze industry trends to inform communication strategies - Collaborate with senior leadership to develop key messages and talking points for various initiatives - Assist with the planning and execution of corporate events and sponsorship opportunities - Monitor and analyze communication efforts to measure effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field - Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in communications or a related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Experience with strategic planning and research - Driven and passionate about the field of communications
