Online Pr Associate

Job Description:

Progressive, a leading online retailer based in New York City, is seeking a part-time Online PR Associate to join our dynamic team. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in public relations or a related field. We are looking for a confident and dedicated individual with strong people management and teamwork skills to help us build and maintain our online presence.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement online PR strategies to promote Progressive's brand and products - Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other promotional materials - Monitor and analyze media coverage to identify trends and opportunities for engagement - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all online platforms - Build relationships with key influencers, bloggers, and journalists to increase brand visibility - Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to promote Progressive's online presence - Handle media inquiries and manage crisis communication situations as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations or a similar role - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in social media platforms and online analytics tools - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Confidence and dedication to the job - People management skills and a teamwork-oriented mindset
