Job description:

O’Reilly Automotive is seeking a part-time PR Associate to join our team in New York City, New York. As an entry-level position, we are looking for an individual with at least 1 year of experience in the field. Our ideal candidate is confident, resilient, and possesses excellent planning and cooperation skills.

Responsibilities: 1. Assist in developing and implementing PR strategies and campaigns to promote the company and its products/services. 2. Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials. 3. Build and maintain relationships with members of the media, influencers, and other stakeholders. 4. Monitor media coverage and track PR performance metrics. 5. Coordinate PR events, including press conferences, product launches, and media tours. 6. Assist in crisis communication and reputation management as needed.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field. 2. 1+ years of experience in PR or related field. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4. Strong organizational and time management skills. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PR software/tools. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
