Job Description:

Gilead Sciences is seeking a part-time PR Associate to join our team in Washington, D.C., US. As a PR Associate at Gilead Sciences, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of strategic communication plans to enhance the company's reputation and brand awareness.

Responsibilities: - Assist in the development and implementation of PR strategies to promote the company's products and initiatives - Write press releases, media pitches, and other communications materials - Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts - Monitor media coverage and track PR metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts - Assist with event planning and coordination for company-sponsored events - Provide support for social media campaigns and digital marketing initiatives - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of communication efforts with company goals

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations or communications - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Hardworking and energetic personality - Emotional intelligence and strong decision-making skills
