Pr Associate

Job Description: As a PR Associate at Airbnb, based in New York City, you will play a crucial role in shaping and managing the public image and reputation of the company. This part-time role at the Associate level requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in public relations or a related field.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and execute strategic PR campaigns to increase brand visibility and enhance reputation. 2. Write press releases, pitch stories to media outlets, and secure coverage in relevant publications. 3. Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and influencers. 4. Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and potential risks. 5. Assist in the planning and execution of PR events and initiatives. 6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with broader marketing and business goals. 7. Take on ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed to support the PR team's objectives.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. 2. Proven experience in PR, media relations, or related roles, with a minimum of 3 years of experience. 3. Confident and hardworking personality traits. 4. Strong problem-solving and research skills. 5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 7. Familiarity with the hospitality industry and/or tech industry is a plus.
