Job Description:

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a detail-oriented and driven PR Associate to join our team in Washington, D.C. This part-time position is ideal for individuals who are looking to kickstart their career in public relations. The PR Associate will work closely with the PR team to develop and execute strategic communication plans to promote the company's brand and products.

Responsibilities: - Assist in the development and implementation of public relations strategies and campaigns - Write press releases, pitches, and other communication materials - Monitor media coverage and track PR metrics - Build and maintain relationships with media contacts - Coordinate interviews and media opportunities - Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative PR ideas - Assist in the organization of PR events and activities - Support social media efforts to enhance brand visibility - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging - Handle administrative tasks related to PR initiatives

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field - 1 year of experience in public relations or related field - Adaptable and reliable with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Creative thinker with a passion for innovation - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
