1st Shift Production Supervisor

ABOUT THE THE ROLE:

As our 1st Shift Production Supervisor, you'll be instrumental in overseeing all aspects of our truss manufacturing operations, ensuring we meet quality, efficiency, and safety standards while exceeding client expectations and needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead, manage, and develop a team focused on truss fabrication on 1st shift production.
• Oversee all 1st shift production, including schedules and special projects for truss manufacturing.
• Driving 1st shift production to meet quality, efficiency and safety standards. 
• Maintain and optimize production schedule for trusses, identifying and resolving potential delays.
• Review and improve workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve safety in truss production.
• Train and develop team members, coordinating specific training opportunities as well as in the moment individualized training. 
• Maximize efficiency and optimize strengths by managing workload and capitalizing on workshare opportunities.
• Collaborate daily with Wrightstown Head Coach and Department Leaders for seamless operations.
• Hold pre-production huddles to set daily production goals and company initiatives. 
• Operate various machinery including forklifts and powered tools  as needed.
• Perform weekly equipment checks and maintain situational awareness for safe operation.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

YOUR PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE

• Experience with hand and power tools, and ideally, experience with automated machinery or robotic systems (even if it's just basic operation)
• Experience with reading building plans and digital schematics
• Basic math skills
• Your background involves putting customers first
• You have been a HUGE contributor to the success of a team
