Undergraduate Academic Affairs (UAA) shapes, advances, and stewards a world-class undergraduate academic experience for students at the University of Washington. Staff, faculty, and students in UAA deepen and enrich the learning experience for all undergraduates, recognizing and supporting the unique learning path of each individual student and committing each academic program to excellence in learning and teaching.
Within UAA, The Halbert and Nancy Robinson Center for Young Scholars (RC) at the University of Washington's mission is threefold: teaching, research, and service. The RC is a leader in the nation for developing programs that serve highly capable young pre-college and college students.
The Halbert and Nancy Robinson Center for Young Scholars offers enrichment courses through the Saturday Enrichment Program for students currently in grades K-8. These classes are intended to provide intellectually ambitious students with challenge, inspiration, and fun, in a collaborative, supportive learning environment.
Undergraduate Academic Affairs has an outstanding opportunity for temporary 2025-2026 Saturday Instructors (Multiple Opportunities) to join their team.
The Robinson Center (RC) seeks candidates to teach enrichment classes for highly interested and motivated students in grades K-8. The courses are offered each quarter, from Fall to Spring quarters, on Saturday mornings and include eight 50-minutes sessions per quarter. This position involves curriculum development, class instruction, working with teaching aides, and attending all orientation and professional development required training.
