Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our Options Homeschool program, a supplemental initiative designed to support students' learning journeys. As a part-time teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education to our middle and high school students, offering them a unique and flexible learning experience. This role provides an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic growth and development.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons to middle and high school students in a homeschool setting.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic growth.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
Collaborate with the homeschool program team to align teaching methods and curriculum.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance.
Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to stay updated on best practices.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment, addressing any student behavioral issues promptly.
Stay informed about current educational trends and incorporate innovative teaching strategies.

Qualifications

Valid teaching license or certification for middle/high school education.
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a homeschool or alternative education setting.
Strong subject matter expertise in the relevant middle/high school curriculum areas.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and parents.
Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic homeschool program team.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of homeschool students.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and learning.
