2ND SHIFT CUT FLOOR TRAINER
HOURS:
- 2nd Shift – flexible as needed or required
- Saturdays as needed or required
DUTIES
- Training and motivation of all new employees
- Conducting of Work Hardening programs
- Conducting “off-line” knife sharpening classes on both straight and whizzard knives
- Completing various reports in a timely manner
- May assist Occupational Health and the hospital for translation
- Teach annual retraining classes
- Assist in employee retention
- Other duties as assigned
- Hours worked as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Good Safety record required
- Knowledge and technical skills in a variety of boning floor jobs
- Must be employee of JBS for at least 1 year
- Knowledge of the boning lines for at least 1 year preferred but not required
- Superior knife sharpening skills (all types)-must achieve/maintain knives at or above 8.1 on the Anglo knife sharpness tester
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills – written and oral
- Patient attitude with inexperienced employees
- Excellent people skills
- Must have a valid driver license
- Ability to follow instructions & plan time efficiently
- Ability to conduct training classes as assigned
- Bilingual preferred but not required

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

- Base hourly salary range:$21.60-$27.60
