2nd Shift- 

PT ~ Finishing Operator ~ Tumbling and/or Black Oxide

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

 The PT-Finishing Operator operates  production machinery in the finishing department.  PT-Finishing Operator may operate a Tumbler or Black Oxide finishing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Includes, but may not be limited to the following:

• PT-Finishing Operator Inspects in-process fabricated parts.
• PT-Finishing Operator operates tumbler and/or Black Oxide finishing.
• PT-Finishing Operator must meet productivity  and waste standards.
• PT-Finishing Operator performs visual Inspection of components for defects and cosmetic issues.
• PT-Finishing Operator maintains work flow with no or minimum interruptions.
• PT-Finishing Operator responsible for cleanliness and orderliness of work environment.
• PT-Finishing Operator promotes team work and willingness to help others.
• PT-Finishing Operator commits  to quality and accuracy of work performed.
• PT-Finishing Operator is responsible for following established safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• H.S. diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience
• Basic problem-solving and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Able to multi-task
• Able to utilize Micrometers, Calibers, Drop Gage and Dial Indicators
• Able to read and following instructions outlined in production documents
