Now Hiring: In-Person Tutor for Two Students in Atlanta (30305)
We are seeking a certified Tutor to support two students from the same family:
- A 6th grader who needs homework support, particularly in Math and with ADHD-related challenges like focus and organization.
- A 10th grader who needs help with High School Math, most likely Algebra 2.
Tutoring takes place in the family’s home in Atlanta (zip code 30331). The family is available for 1-hour sessions twice per week per student, and they are hoping to begin at the start of the school year in August.
Requirements
- Must be a certified educator through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (PSC).
- For the 6th grader, a K–6 certification is acceptable.
- For the 10th grader, a certification in Mathematics is required.
- You must meet the GA Promise Program eligibility requirements, including:
- Active PSC Certificate
- PSC Certification ID
- PSC Field Code (subject/grade certified)
- Proof of business license (required for businesses; optional for individuals)
An Ideal Tutor Is:
- Encouraging, patient, and organized
- Comfortable working with students with ADHD
- Strong in middle and high school math
- Dependable and consistent
A Bachelor’s Degree and prior tutoring experience are required. Preference is given to tutors with a teaching or educational background.
With In-Home Tutors, you are an independent contractor. You’ll report hours via our online system and are paid twice per month.

Responsibilities
- Provide individualized tutoring sessions for 6th and 10th grade students, focusing on math concepts and problem-solving skills.
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to each student's learning needs.

- Collaborate with parents to discuss student progress and areas for improvement.
