Account Reconciliation Specialist

Jefferson Wells is partnering with our Banking client in the Racine, WI area to fill an Account Reconciliation Specialist. 

 

• Contract Position:   Full-time - initially a 6-month opportunity with the potential to extend and/or go full-time perm at a later date
  
• Hybrid – Racine Area: (3 days in the office/2 days virtual)
  
• Compensation Target:  $20-25/hour (may have some flexibility depending on expertise)
  
• Associate’s degree preferred
  
• Accounting experience working with the general ledger ideal 
  
• Banking experience is a plus
  
• Microsoft Excel is used for all reconciliations

  • Review and balance internal and general ledger transactions to ensure proper posting to client accounts, interfaces, correspondent accounts, and general ledgers.
    
  • Research and correct discrepancies within internal or general ledger accounts by comparing credits versus debits, researching transactions, and monitoring unposted items utilizing interfaces, spreadsheets, and account reconciliation automation tools.
