Accounts Payable Analyst

What is this position about?

In the role of AP Analyst, you will be responsible for administering, verifying, collecting, and accurately entering financial information of the EMEA region and supporting our global AP team. 

This position involves working part time (30 weekly hours) starting in the morning to better align with EMEA Time Zone. 

• Processing vendor bills and payments for EMEA region in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support global AP team with Montevideo vendor bill processing.
• Reviewing supplier information and documentation, coordinating relevant identification procedures, and addressing other requirements from suppliers.
• Ensuring that the financial records align with our bank data and performing daily bank reconciliations.
• Processing expense claims.
• Monitoring accounts receivable aging and following up on outstanding payments.
• Serving as the primary contact for suppliers regarding questions about invoices, purchase orders, and payments, and managing the finance mailbox.
• Providing general support to the finance team, including archiving documents and assisting with ad-hoc tasks.

• Student or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Adaptability while working in a fast-changing and evolving organization.
• NetSuite/Openair experience is a plus. 
• Experience working in financial administration, booking vendor bills and payments. 
• Pro active and team player attitude.

Excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication is a must! 

How much experience must I have? 

We're looking for someone with 1 to 3 years of experience in Accounting.
