Activities Aide

Fargo Elim, a Cassia community, is hiring Activities Aide to join our team in Fargo, ND! If you have a heart for helping others and want to make a difference in the lives of others, this is the place for you.  We'll train you for this entry level position where you will gain valuable skills.

As a Activities Aide at Fargo Elim, you will conduct fun and exciting activities with our residents. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a genuine concern for our residents’ well-being, and has a creative personality and positive attitude.

Position Type:  Part-Time working a varying schedule including weekends

Shifts Available: 
Saturday/Sunday 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Weeknights 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM or 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Location:  3534 University Drive S, Fargo, ND, 58104

Activities Aide Responsibilities:

• Encourage, support, and assist residents with activities in individual and group settings.
• Interact and assist residents on a one to one basis outside of structured program times.
• Document activity attendance and degree of involvement.
• Act as a positive representative at all times.
• Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.

• Prior experience working in a senior care environment preferred.
• CNA Licensed preferred, not required!
• Demonstrate good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to display enthusiasm and a positive attitude in promoting activities.
• Creative aptitude for training in arts, crafts, and games.
• Good communication skills, including ability to give directions to others in a manner that is pleasant and easily understood.
• Must be able to work a consistent schedule.
