ACU/PACU Charge RN (30 hours per week)

On Call Rotation

Position Details: 

We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Registered Nurse  to join our team at Reedsburg Area Medical Center. In this role, the RN provides direct patient care across the lifespan while coordinating with interdisciplinary team members to promote wellness, support coping, and ensure continuity of care.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in alignment with nursing and medical plans, maintaining open communication with patients, families, and care teams.

As a Charge Nurse, the RN will also help manage daily clinical operations, support staff development, ensure quality care delivery, and foster a team-oriented, healthy work environment in collaboration with House Supervisors.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a patient-centered environment and is committed to clinical excellence, mentorship, and collaboration.

Education & Licensure:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred


• Current RN license in the State of Wisconsin


• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (required within 6 months of hire)


• Advanced certification preferred


• Must meet health requirements

Experience:

• Minimum of 3–6 months RN experience post-orientation required before serving as Charge Nurse
