Job Description - Adjunct Instructor - Communication Design 200 Intro to Contemporary Screen Printing

Description

Stephens College invites applications for part-time (adjunct) instructors for the following courses in our Communication Design program:

COMD 200 Intro to Contemporary Screen Printing is a hands-on, process-based course that introduces students to the tools, history, and strategies of serigraphy and focuses on developing student portfolios. 

Courses are 3 credit hours and scheduled on our new block system, in which courses meet daily for 3.5 weeks for approximately 3 hours per day.  COMD 200 is scheduled for Block 2 (Sept. 22 – Oct. 15).

Requirements

  • M.A., MFA, or PhD in Graphic Design or related field.
  • Expertise in design software and web applications.
  • Strong commitment to undergraduate education.
  • Portfolio of work showcasing technical proficiency.
  • Candidates with previous collegiate teaching experience are preferred.
