Hours: Monday - Thursday | 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (with a 30 minute lunch break) and As Needed Fridays 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Summary:
The front desk/ admin assistant will be the first point of contact between the public and the St. Ann Catholic Church office by answering a multi-line phone system and receiving the public for assistance/appointments. This position is also required to assist staff with various office tasks such as, making copies, filing, taking mail, scheduling Masses, processing payments etc. Will also be required to assist staff with file and data management of records.
Position Responsibilities:
Answers the telephone and directs the calls to the appropriate individual.
Receives community members that stop by the office to request Masses, schedule appointments and assists with filling of forms.
Making copies and organizing files when requested by staff.
Assist community members with benevolence requests and is familiar with the St. Ann assistance request process.
Completes tasks when requested by the Director of Religious Education or Bookkeeper.
Must be sensitive to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
Assists with preparation of various liturgical events and parish events as needed. Needs for those events will be communicated during preparation and planning.
Attends weekly staff meetings.
Adherence to the Archdiocesan Code of Conduct and the Faith and Morals policy of the Catholic faith is mandatory.
Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service of the organization to include but not limited to names and information, services rendered to families, donors names and gifts, internal and external investigations or results of any investigations, and financial information.

Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must have satisfactory outcome of background check prior to starting employment and complete all Safe Environment Mandates for the Archdiocese of San Antonio.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Google Suite. Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Google Suite.
Ability to relate and communicate effectively with the public.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Ability to plan and/or implement instructional activities.
Ability to operate or learn to operate a variety of technology and equipment.
Ability to perform clerical responsibilities.
Ability to cooperate and work as a member of a team.
Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team.
Must have good written and verbal skills.
Must have good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
