We are proud to be one of the top-rated Before and After School Programs in the Portland Metropolitan area. We are looking for a caring, energetic, and dedicated Assistant Program Leader (Teacher Aide) to provide a positive and academically enriching after-school experience for K-5th students.
The candidate selected for this opportunity will work closely with staff to create a classroom environment where children can THRIVE! This person will help children grow and develop and help them discover new things! The LOVING, nurturing care you provide, will make all the difference in a child’s life. This is not just a J-O-B, this is work that MATTERS.
Qualifications:
- Any K-5th grade teaching, camp or volunteer experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of child development and appropriate developmental practices preferred
- Flexibility and the ability to work well will others
Qualifications needed before start date: Club K will provide guidance on where and how to meet these requirements:
- Enrollment in Central Background Registry
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Food Handler’s certification
- Available Monday-Friday morning and/or afternoons (at least 3 days/week consistently)
Job-Type and Salary:
- Part-time - Starting pay rate - $16.20+ - dependent on experience and level of education
