SUMMARY:

We are seeking a responsible, energetic, and caring individual to join our team as an After School Care Teacher. In this role, you will supervise and engage students in grades 5–12 during after school hours, ensuring a safe, supportive, and structured environment. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with middle and upper school students and are looking for a consistent part-time position in the afternoons.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise students in a structured after school setting from 3:30–5:45 PM


• Ensure a safe and respectful environment for all participants


• Build positive relationships with students, promoting appropriate behavior and engagement


• Monitor student activities including homework time, enrichment, recreation, and free time


• Enforce program rules and school policies consistently and fairly


• Communicate effectively with students, school staff, and parents as needed


• Assist with setup and cleanup of activities and spaces

REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrated personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion to help others follow Jesus


• Experience working with middle or high school-aged youth preferred


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a dynamic environment


• Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance


• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) is a plus


• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or coursework in education or youth development preferred
