Job Summary
We are seeking honest, hard working, and energetic individuals for a part time position caring for and working with children 6 weeks through 6 years of age in an afterschool program.
The hours needed for this position are from 3 to 6 pm Monday through Friday.
(Additional hours and/or subbing opportunities are available.)
Health and Safety Training Provided! CPR and First Aide Certification Provided!
Must be at least 16 years of age to apply. This is a perfect position for a second or after school job.
After School Teacher's Aide Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining a fun and safe learning environment.
- Assist in maintaining schedules and routines.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
- Maintain the healthy and safety of all students.
- Maintain a clean environment for children and teachers. This will require light housekeeping responsibilities.
- Assist children in developing self-care habits.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Experience working with children in a group setting
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Efficient classroom management skills
- Exemplary work ethic
- Excellent multitasking ability
- Team player mentality is a must!
Candidate must be willing to undergo a background check, health assessment, TB test, and complete all health and safety training requirements.

Our Montessori Teacher Training Program
Our program has been methodically developed following the guidelines established by MACTE (Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education). This program offers an incredible benefit to our teaching team as well as families. Teachers can obtain their certifications through an in-house program with hands on experience, and parents can feel confident knowing that their children are receiving the best educational experience with the highest quality teachers.
Through the process of achieving a certification, teachers fall in love with the Montessori approach to education. Due to their devotion and understanding of what a quality program can be, teachers who receive a Montessori certification want to stay with an authentic Montessori school.
