Afternoon Teacher 2-630
We are seeking a caring, energetic, and reliable Afternoon Teacher to join our team and support our young learners during the afternoon hours. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with children and is committed to providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment.
Position: Afternoon Teacher
Hours: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities.
- Assist with classroom management and maintain a safe, clean environment.
- Support lead teachers with daily routines such as snack time, playtime, and transitions.
- Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents.
- Ensure the health and safety of all children in care.
- Help with end-of-day clean-up and classroom organization.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience working with children in a group setting preferred.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Positive attitude, team player, and dependable.
- Ability to pass background checks as required by state licensing.
