Job Description - Afterschool Group Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and responsible Afterschool Group Leader to join our team at Tiny Tunes Daycare in Bronx, NY. As a leader in our afterschool program, you will have the opportunity to engage and inspire children in a fun and educational environment.
Available hours: Mon thru Fri 2pm to 6pm

Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor children during afterschool activities

Plan and lead engaging and age-appropriate activities

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program

Communicate effectively with parents and staff

Assist with homework and provide academic support

Pick up and assist children with homework

Clean and organize classroom

lesson plan

Requirements:

Prior experience working with school aged children in a daycare or educational setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to maintain a safe and positive environment for children

CPR and First Aid certification a plus
