After-School Nanny - Part Time

After-School Nanny – $16.00/HR (With eligibility for raises in the future!)
Location: 78006 – Boerne, TX

We are seeking a responsible, warm, and proactive after-school nanny to support a fun-loving family with two children in the 78006 area of Boerne, TX! The ideal candidate will bring confidence, structure, and kindness to the after-school routine, helping the kids recharge, complete responsibilities, and enjoy their afternoons.

The children are ages 12 and 7, and both enjoy staying active and engaged after school. The nanny will assist with after-school routines including snack, overseeing chores and homework, encouraging movement or play, and providing light household support. Occasional date night coverage on Wednesdays would be a huge plus (but not required)!

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 3:00/3:30 PM – 6:30 PM

• Occasional Wednesday evenings for date night (flexible)
  Start Date: August 2025
  Commitment: Ongoing through the school year

Responsibilities:

• Support the afternoon routine for two school-aged children (ages 12 and 7)

• Provide snack and help encourage active time after school

• Oversee chores and homework completion

• Help with light household support: kids' laundry, dishes, and general tidying

• Create a positive and supportive after-school environment

Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required prior to hire

• At least one year of childcare experience (paid preferred)

• Experience with school-aged children

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to pass a background check (provided and required)

• Three childcare references (ready upon request)
