After-School Tutor - Banning

When is the last time you had a chance to really make a difference with your students? Sylvan Learning of Hemet is looking for fun, dedicated teachers to inspire and help our students achieve academic excellence for the 2025-26 school year.  We are currently accepting applications for tutors with experience with elementary, middle, and/or high school instruction to work with one of our community partners in Banning. We value your input on each student and we need your expertise to help our students be successful. Students are provided homework support and personalized tutoring through pre-planned lessons based on their assessment scores. Instructional hours take place after school Monday through Wednesday.

Hours: Monday through Wednesday 3:30-6:30

* Teach students in a low student-teacher ratio
* Use pre-planned lessons
* Use proven methods developed by educators
* Use materials approved by schools
* Motivate students of all ages to excel academically

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

60 units of college credit

Reliable transportation

Availability Monday - Wednesday from 3:30-6:30

Ability to work with students in grades K-12
