Job Description - AI Model Development Team Member

The AI Model Development Team Member plays a vital role in the manufacturing process by ensuring accurate and compliant labeling of products. This role involves applying labels to products, verifying label content, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards and regulatory requirements. 


 


Duties and Responsibilities:  



  • Identify and label defects in products as well as foreign material.  



  • Participate in running images through a quality checking process.   



  • Help train models and evaluate accuracy and precision of AI models   


 


Experience: 



  • Experience with using the terminal, this can be minimal. 



  • Ability to use a computer, experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc. 



  • Attention to detail and strong observation skills.  



  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.  



  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately, give and receive feedback, and make decisions.  



  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or labeling role is beneficial but not always . 



  • Adaptability to changing priorities and fast-paced manufacturing environments. 



  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks. 


 


Education: 



  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred

  • Communication: Identifies and presents information and data that will support the sales effort 



  • Selects language and examples tailored to the level and experience of the audience. 



  • Results oriented: Exerts effort remotely and on-site to achieve customer goals and sales team goals. 



  • Critical thinking: Makes systematic comparison of two or more alternatives. Notices discrepancies and inconsistencies in available information.  



  • Problem solving: Approaches a complex task or problem by breaking it down into manageable steps.  



  • Teamwork: Listens and responds constructively to other’s ideas. Offers support for others’ ideas and proposals. Shares expertise with others. 



  • Planning: Ability to listen to customer needs and develop action plans to satisfy needs 



  • Computer skills: Proficiency using MS Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint . Familiarity with CRM a plus. 


 


Work Environment: 


Location: Orem, UT. The Model Development Team Member is primarily based in an office environment. A desk that has a monitor, keyboard, computer, and all the necessary software tools to perform administrative and coordination duties will be equipped. The position requires an extended period of time spent sitting at a desk, communication, and team management. Interaction with cross functional teams and stakeholders is often conducted via email, or face-to-face meetings
