Alterations Specialist

Our  Bridal seamstresses add the next level of experience for our brides.  As a LUV seamstress you will need to bring a level of positivity, encouragement and enthusiasm to our brides, their guests and team members.  You will be the last voice of LUV as our brides leave our showroom.  In addition to fitting our brides, you will be interacting with her family/ friends.  The hours are flexible and will be determined by the needs of the business.   Previous bridal  alterations experience is required.     

• Taking measurements: Using measuring tapes and other tools to accurately measure a client's body, such as their chest, hips, waist, and inseam


• Sewing: Sewing bridal gowns by hand or by industrial machine, and assembling the pieces together


• Making alterations: Removing or adding seams, pinning wedding dresses, and repairing rips


• Fitting garments: Fitting garments for customers and recommending alterations


• Providing customer service: Communicating clearly, working quickly and efficiently, and being willing to work extra hours
