Job description

Today, Beansprouts is seeking an AM Assistant 2s Teacher to join our preschool team for the 2025-2026 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in education to gain experience in the field and learn from a fun, creative, and supportive team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the head teacher with daily activities and as assigned
• Promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children
• Interact, support, and work with children and families
• Help to establish a mutually respectful and productive classroom
• Participate in school meetings
• Engage in ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30am - 12:30pm 
• 10-month school year (with additional summer program)

• Education Requirements:
  • Possess an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • OR is working towards or possess a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Must have at least two years of childcare experience
• Must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills; and be team-oriented, nurturing, patient, and reliable
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, which may include lifting children and year-round outdoor activities

**As per Department of Health regulations, a background check and medical will be required for employment.
