Job Summary
We are seeking a highly professional and vigilant Armed Security Guard to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a secure environment by protecting personnel, property, and assets. The ideal candidate is licensed in the state of Maryland and authorized to carry a firearm. This position requires a strong sense of integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine patrols and maintain a strong visible presence to deter threats

Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel gain access

Respond swiftly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, or suspicious activity

Enforce safety protocols and remove unauthorized individuals or trespassers as needed

Monitor surveillance systems and report irregularities

Prepare detailed, accurate incident and activity reports

Qualifications:

Current Maryland Security Guard License (required)

Authorization and ability to carry a firearm in the state of Maryland (required)

Prior experience as an Armed Guard or similar role preferred

High school diploma or GED

Solid understanding of public safety and security procedures

Strong written communication and report writing skills

Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

High attention to detail and strong observational skills

Compensation: $19.00 per hour
