Job Description - Asbestos Trainer


Job Title: Asbestos Trainer
Schedule:
  • Session 1: July 30-31, 2024
  • Session 2: August 13-14, 2024
  • Session 3: August 20-21, 2024
  • Session 4: August 27-28, 2024
  • Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM daily
Location: Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, CA
Duties:
  • Deliver 16-hour training sessions on Class III/IV asbestos work.
  • Teach asbestos history, health effects, personal protection, and regulations.
  • Instruct on abatement options, removal methods, and dust control.
  • Conduct hands-on training compliant with EPA and OSHA standards.
  • Provide training certificates to participants and the government representative.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Asbestos Abatement Contractor/Supervisor (EPA/state accredited).
  • Minimum 10 years of asbestos training experience.
  • Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926.1101 regulations.
  • Experience with federal agencies, preferably military.
  • Strong communication and instructional skills.
  • Ability to obtain DBIDS access for Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.
