Job Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Dance Instructor to join our successful dance studio. As an assistant Instructor, you will aide our lead teacher in dance or tumbling classes, ensuring that students of all ages and levels are able to participate. Your goal is to help students reach their dance/tumbling objectives and have fun while doing it! The ideal candidate is a positive, engaging teacher with a passion for dance/tumbling and children.

Responsibilities

Assist lead instructor in dance lessons for children, in styles such as Tumbling, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, &/or Hip Hop

Develop a relationahip with students to gain trust and make them feel safe

Promote positivity and self-esteem in our students

Deliver exceptional customer service in accordance with business policies in a fun atmosphere

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED required

Previous Dance Training required

Knowledge of physiology, dance technique and child development is preferred

First aid and CPR-certified (or willing to become)

Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
