TUESDAY: 4:45 pm - 7:15 pm
THURSDAY: 4:45 pm - 7:15 pm
SATURDAY: 8:30 am - 1:00 pm
LOCATION: Dellwood Park, Lockport, Illinois

Soccer Shots operates a recreational soccer league for children aged PreK-8th grade. Soccer Shots and our league continue to grow and are looking for a PART-TIME league assistant director to join our team.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate assistant soccer league to collaborate with our director for our soccer league at the Lockport Township Park District. We have a pre-written curriculum, but the ability to adjust to the children and be flexible is a must.

Responsibilities will include:

Coaching practices

Field set-up and clean-up

Answering parents' questions regarding the league

Working closely with our team of coaches and parent coaches to ensure the league runs smoothly

Overseeing and refereeing games on Saturday mornings

The ideal applicant must meet the following criteria:

Outgoing, detail-oriented, confident, and independent decision-making abilities.

A love of working with young children and making a difference in their lives.

Have reliable transportation.

Enjoy playing or coaching soccer; some soccer experience is required.

Have good physical stamina as you could be running, kneeling, and squatting on a field for up to 3 hours. Coaches must be able to carry an equipment bag that contains 14 balls, nets, and more.

Must be at least 18 years old, out of high school, and highly reliable.

Respectful to parents, directors, and children.

Understands that this is a recreational league and all children are treated equally regardless of skill.

Available to work long-term and not just for one season. Our league is run in the fall, winter, and spring seasons.
