Assistant Manager in Training Locally Owned Retail

We are a locally owned and operated retail shop. 

Looking for someone who has a mind for business and a knack for leadership. Experience is second to attitude and willingness to succeed. 

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring excellent levels of sales & service and customer experience.


• Understands small business and assists in driving business growth and productivity.
  


• Being knowledgeable on all products as well as keeping up with and teaching team product knowledge continually.
  


• Being personally accountable for operational processes and procedures for self and team.


• Maintaining personal and shop team productivity and Sales goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.


• Builds professional relationships with every customer and potential customer.
  


• Ability to learn, maintain and share expertise of products, industry and trends.

• Contributes to a positive, productive and passionate work environment every shift.


• Assists in local marketing and social media. 


• Has a can do attitude.


• Needs to be able to work evenings and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years of retail leadership experience preferred.


• Knows how to lead a team and manage their productivity.


• Enthusiastic and passionate about people and customer service.


• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.


• Must have good communication skills via multiple channels with individuals as well as groups of people. 


• Disciplined and focused on results and operational excellence


• Must be proactive and Initiate completion of tasks or activities without necessary supervision
  


• Computer skills are necessary.
