Soccer Shots is looking for assistant coaches to help coach and referee at our soccer league at the Lockport Township Park District on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings this fall. 

An assistant coach is paid $15 per hour. If an assistant coach wants to work toward becoming a head coach, they will be paid $20 per hour after training.


The role of an assistant coach is to assist the head coach with prewritten curriculum during practices and help referee games on Saturdays. An assistant coach must:

  • Enjoy working with children

  • Be comfortable talking to and working in front of parents. 

  • Always on time, neat in appearance, prepared for every class, and remarkable when working with children. 

  • High-energy and enthusiastic. 

  • At least 16 years old with reliable transportation.
