Nessa’s Small Steps Childcare is seeking a caring, reliable, and energetic Assistant Teacher to join our team! This is a part-time position ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys working in a nurturing, supportive environment. Preferably looking for someone to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6 am- 5 pm.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting the lead teacher with daily classroom activities

Helping maintains a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment

Supervising children during indoor and outdoor play

Supporting routines such as meals, naps, and bathroom breaks

Promoting positive interactions and social development

Requirements:

Experience working with young children preferred

Must be dependable, punctual, and patient

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Clearances and background checks required
