Athletic Event Staff - (Flexible Part Time)

THE ROLE

We are building our event team leading into the 2025 sporting event season. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be part of our booth team offering product sampling, educating prospects on our products and brand and closing sales

• Go out with run clubs, cycling teams, etc. and join in, then promote Blonyx and sell

• Go to CrossFit gyms, weightlifting gyms and other suitable athletic facilities etc. and set up promotional events to raise awareness and generate sales

• Help run seminars

• Get to know local ambassadors and influencers, recruiting them onto our team

• Work to identify and initiate partnerships with likeminded brands, people, events and organisations

REQUIREMENTS 

• A love, passion and involvement in sports and sports nutrition is vital

• An outgoing personality with a love for interacting with people and building relationships

• The ability to sell, (you should have at least some retail sales experience)

• A natural coach and facilitator 

• A self-starter with bags of confidence

• A geek at heart

POSITION DETAILS

Salary: $20/h plus 10% commission on all sales generated at events

$30/h for events where no sales are generated

Travel expenses covered

This role is flexible and you don’t have to be at all events. Spring through fall we have events most weekends and some evenings. You will also be expected to proactively find opportunities to attend events like local run clubs or visit local sports teams. 

Ideally you’ll be a runner, cyclists or triathlete as most of the events on our calendar fall into these categories. We often get free entry for events too and we encourage you to participate and represent Blonyx where possible.
