Athletic Field Monitor

NOW HIRING: Field Monitor/Scorekeeper for Athletics (part-time)

JOB SUMMARY:  The Field Monitor is a reliable, organized, sports-loving person who is responsible for setting up event/game areas, monitoring participants and patrons, removing and putting away equipment following games/events, and keeping score when necessary.   

LOCATION:  Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center, 8125 W. 171st St, Tinley Park and various field locations within the community.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Applicant must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver’s license, have his/her own cell phone communication and the ability to provide his/her own transportation to various fields and facility locations. CPR certification is required and must be obtained within six (6) months of hire. Certification must be maintained throughout employment.

INCENTIVES:  This is a part-time position.  The wage range for this position is $15.00–$18.75 per hour and includes complimentary membership benefits to Tinley Fitness Center, Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center, White Water Canyon Water Park, and Canine Campus Dog Park. The entry-level wage for all new hires will be $15.00 per hour.
