ATSU - Assistant Director IPE&C

A.T. Still University (ATSU) is seeking an exempt, part-time Assistant Director of IPE&C at the Kirksville, MO campus or the Mesa, AZ campus.  

Major Job Duties

• Develop IPE Curriculum: Design and implement IPE curricula that align with organizational goals and national IPE standards.
• Facilitate IPE Activities: Organize and lead IPE activities, such as simulations, team-based learning, and interdisciplinary patient care conferences.
• Measure IPE Outcomes: Assess the effectiveness of IPE programs through evaluation methods such as surveys, focus groups, and outcome measures.
• Foster Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with faculty, staff, and students from various healthcare professions to promote interprofessional collaboration.
• Stay Current: Keep abreast of emerging trends in IPE and best practices in healthcare education.

Skills/Experience

• Experience in developing and implementing IPE curricula.
• Experience in conducting IPE evaluations.
• Experience in leading interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience in healthcare education or administration.
• Strong understanding of interprofessional education principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
•  Masters/Doctorate preferred.
