Description

Iron Tee Golf is seeking an efficient and reliable Barback to support our bartending staff. As a Barback, your primary duties will include stocking supplies, ensuring cleanliness, and assisting bartenders with drink preparation. This role is crucial in maintaining smooth operations and delivering top-notch service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests by greeting them warmly and ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.
• Have a good understanding of the drink menu, including specialty cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, and be able to make recommendations to guests.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service, to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.
• Support bartenders by helping with drink preparation, garnishing, and ensuring they have the supplies they need.
• Monitor and restock bar supplies, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and straws, to ensure a well-stocked bar area.
• Keep ice bins filled and ice scoops readily available to maintain a constant supply of ice for drinks.
• Collect used glassware, wash, and restock it for bartenders' use. Ensure clean glassware is always available.
• Keep the bar area clean and organized, including regularly clearing empty glasses and trash, and wiping down surfaces.
• Check and refill condiment dispensers, such as napkins, straws, and cocktail garnishes.
• Help change and connect new kegs when needed, ensuring that draft beer is readily available.
• Regularly empty trash and recycling bins, maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
• Help customers by promptly delivering drinks and providing friendly service when necessary.
• Assist with closing tasks, including cleaning the bar area, restocking supplies, and preparing for the next shift.
• Safely transport heavy kegs, cases of liquor, and other supplies to designated storage areas.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Familiarity with restaurant standards and hospitality
• Good communication skills, and experience working with staff on all levels.
• Ability to stand for hours at a time, including maneuvering up and down stairs.
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at-a-time without assistance.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
