Barista / Server

Job Summary

Cambria Downtown Austin is seeking a friendly, reliable Barista / Server to join our Food & Beverage team. This role combines barista responsibilities with table service, providing high-quality beverages, food, and exceptional guest service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and other café beverages

• Greet guests and provide attentive food and beverage service

• Take and deliver orders accurately and in a timely manner

• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, dining area, and service stations

• Operate POS system and handle payments accurately

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and service standards

• Support team members and hotel operations as needed

Qualifications

• Previous barista and/or serving experience preferred

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Flexible availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
