Description

Key Responsibilities

• Drink Preparation & Service: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes, ensuring consistency and quality. 
• Customer Interaction:  Greet and engage with customers, taking orders and providing  recommendations. 
• Compliance: Check customers’ identification to ensure the legal drinking age. 
• Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glasses and bar tools. 
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed. 
• Payment Handling: Handle member / credit card transactions, operate the POS system, and manage tabs. 
• Safety & Hygiene: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. 
• Customer Satisfaction: Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. 

Requirements

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Experience: Previous experience as a bartender or in a related hospitality role is  preferred. 
• Skills: Knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving techniques. 
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items. 
• Certifications: Bar Starts & Bar Smarts or other responsible beverage service certification preferred.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities. 
• Familiarity with Member / Credit Tabs and point-of-sale systems. 
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a bar setting. 
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. 
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift  heavy items.
