Bartender/Food Runner

Job Summary:

The Bartender/Food Runner supports daily food and beverage operations by providing prompt, friendly service and ensuring a smooth flow between the bar and guests. This role is responsible for preparing beverages to standard, delivering food accurately, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and upholding health and safety guidelines. The Bartender/Food Runner contributes to an exceptional guest experience by staying attentive, communicating effectively, and adapting to varying levels of business demand. This position helps maintain quality, efficiency, and consistency throughout service while supporting overall departmental performance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Learn and maintain knowledge of all our menus & products and demonstrate knowledge of dietary/allergy information.


• Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately.


• Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash.


• Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food.

• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

• Perform all opening and closing duties assigned by managers.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Riverside County Food Handler Card


• Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification


• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to frequently lift, move and/or push up to 50 pounds without assistance.


• Ability to sit, walk, climb up and down stairs repeatedly for extended periods of time.


• Constant standing and bending.


• Tasks will be performed using and in the proximity of coolers, stoves, and other hot equipment.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent, required


• At least two years related experience preferred
