Bartender positions for the Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas are a key element to the Guest experience. Bartenders are responsible for timely and accurate Guest service by attending to bar and liquor needs in a timely, helpful manner by guiding our Guests though the menu and all seasonal offerings. Practices responsible alcohol service in accordance with state and local laws and Triple Tap Ventures policy. They are responsible for attending to Guests in a timely manner, ensuring all guests' needs are met.
All service/bar staff is expected to practice responsible alcohol service in accordance to state/local laws and Alamo Drafthouse policies.

SALARY / GRADE LEVEL: Hourly / Non-Exempt
REQUIRED SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Ensures that ALL GUESTS have an AWESOME EXPERIENCE, and are EXCITED to come back.
? Possess excellent knowledge of liquor and food quality and beverage preparation, and keep updated on new and revised beverage recipes.
? Follow alcohol awareness procedures for identifying age, preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated Guests.
? Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water and sugar to prepare cocktails and other drinks; ensures beverages are prepared according to company recipes.
? Serves wine, liquor, draft or bottled beer and food to barguests following established company procedures to ensure that the financial transaction is correct and reflects all charges
? Serves beverages in a timely accurate manner.
? Ensure a clean and well-stocked bar.
? Performs shift change and/or opening or closing duties.
? Secures all monies at the end of each shift.
? Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
? Assists other team members as needed or when business needs dictate.
? Keeps station clean, sets up and takes down station appropriately.

QUALIFICATIONS:
? High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
? Texas Food Handling and TABC certification are required.
? Ability to operate POS, make change and accurately conduct credit card transactions and account for all monies at the end of each shift.
? Able to stand/walk for 100% of shift.
? Reaches, bends, stoops, and wipes frequently
? Able to deliver plates, food & clear tables which may require lifting as much as 30lbs.
? Knowledgeable on all current state liquor laws.
? Excellent time management skills.

? Ability to verbalize and clearly respond to Guests.
WORKING CONDITIONs: Work is typically performed in the restaurant environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work involves a majority of walking and standing.
HAZARDS: Only those present in a normal restaurant setting; no known significant hazards. Work performed in the restaurant has minimal exposure to cleaning chemicals, cooking equipment along with minimal machinery with moving parts.
