About the Family:

This warm and inviting family is looking for a ray of sunshine to brighten their mornings! They have a delightful 3-year-old who is full of energy and curiosity. The parents need some support on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 7:30 am to 11:30 am.

About the Role:

• In this role, you'll be more than just a caregiver – you'll be a morning companion for this sweet child! Here's what a typical morning might look like:
• Arrive at 7:30 am to greet the child and help with a fun and energetic wake-up routine.
• Prepare and enjoy a healthy breakfast to take on the go
• Engage in age-appropriate activities like singing songs, reading stories, playing games, or exploring outdoors (weather permitting).
• Help the child get dressed and prepared for the day's activities.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for the child.
• Keep a detailed log of daily activities and communicate effectively with parents.
• Help the child get to daycare and speech classes or other scheduled activities 

The Ideal Candidate:
 

• Experience caring for young children (2+ years old preferred)
• Enjoys age-appropriate activities like singing, reading, and playing games
• Reliable, responsible, and energetic with a positive and caring attitude
• CPR and First Aid certified 
• Reliable transportation, a valid DL and comfortable providing transportation (mileage reimbursement available) 
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative within a set schedule
• Some experience working with children with speech delays or hearing loss a plus!
• 3 professional childcare references and a clean record
