Beach Attendant

The Crowne Plaza - Lake Placid, managed by Essex Hotel Management, is currently seeking a DRIVEN Beach Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Beach Attendant to join our team. As a Beach Attendant, you will ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests while they enjoy the beach. You will maintain a clean and safe environment, provide excellent customer service, and assist guests with any needs they may have.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure the safety of all guests by monitoring the beach and enforcing safety rules

- Maintain a clean and organized beach area, including picking up trash and debris

- Organize guests to borrow kayaks and ensure they have a flotation device before leaving the shoreline.

- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting guests with any needs they may have

- Set up and take down beach equipment, such as chairs and kayaks 

- Monitor weather conditions and adjust beach operations accordingly

- Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management

Requirements:

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area

- Ability to work weekends and holidays 

- Work Hours needed, 9:30am - 6:30pm
