Before and After School Group Leaders and Assistant Group Leaders

Calling all future leaders and educators!  Are you looking to make a difference?  We provide opportunities for your passion to shine: maybe you like sports, arts & crafts, or maybe even math and science! Our Group Leaders and Assistant Group Leaders are responsible for facilitating activities for children in our Before and After School programs leading games, STEM activities, homework help and more. The Assistants and Group Leaders work as part of a team to ensure that a safe and caring environment is provided for children at all times. This is an opportunity to be an important role model in many kid’s lives – priceless!

We are hiring Assistants and Group Leaders to work at our Before/After School programs at the elementary schools in the Goffstown community and at the YMCA Allard Center of Goffstown. Staff are assigned to a location that works well for them. This is an ideal position for someone looking to further their career in education, sports/recreation, childcare, and for anyone looking to build their supervisory, management, and program planning skills.

Work Shifts/Hours:

• FLEXIBLE scheduling available
• Shifts available at a variety of local elementary school and Y locations within Goffstown
• Hours available within Monday to Friday 7-8:30a and/or 2:30 – 6:00p
• Additional hours available during school vacations and no school days

Qualifications:

Must meet State of NH Child Care Licensing requirements:

• Group Leaders must be at least 17 years and 1 of the following:

1. Have a minimum of 3 credits in Education or related field;
2. 600 hours working with children, or 5 years parenting experience

• Assistant Group Leaders must be at least 15 years of age, have a passion working with youth and an eagerness to act as a positive role model while participating in curriculum activities
