Behavior Technician (BT)
Reports to: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Position Overview:

As a Behavior Technician (BT) in training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within the first month of completing your 40-hour training, you will work closely with BCBAs, parents, and other Behavior Technicians to deliver targeted interventions. Your role is pivotal to both the progress of the clients and the operational efficiency of the team. You are expected to complete your client notes within 24 hours, collaborate effectively with peers, seek continuous feedback from BCBAs, and ensure professionalism and punctuality in all client interactions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

1. Completion of Client Notes: 100% of session notes are completed and entered into the company’s Clinical Record (CR) system within 24 hours of each session.
   • Measurable by: Monthly audit of the CR system.
2. Client & Parent Satisfaction: Positive feedback from at least 90% of clients’ families, focusing on punctuality, professionalism, and overall demeanor.
   • Measurable by: Monthly parent feedback surveys.
3. Training Progress: RBT certification achieved within one month of completing the 40-hour training course.
   • Measurable by: Confirmation of RBT certification completion.

Responsibilities:

1. Therapy Implementation: Provide direct ABA therapy services to children with autism as directed by the supervising BCBA, ensuring fidelity to the treatment plan.
2. Session Documentation: Accurately and thoroughly document session data and progress in the company’s Clinical Record system within 24 hours of service delivery.
3. Collaboration & Team Support: Assist other Behavior Technicians and RBTs in maintaining a clean, organized therapy environment, and support the team in ensuring smooth session transitions.
4. Professional Development: Actively seek and apply feedback from BCBAs to improve your skill set, clinical understanding, and performance in delivering ABA therapy.
5. Client & Family Engagement: Foster strong, professional relationships with parents, ensuring they feel supported and informed about their child’s progress, while maintaining timely arrival to all scheduled sessions.

Qualifications:

• : Completion of the 40-hour RBT training program.
• Preferred: Currently pursuing or already obtained RBT certification.
