Job Description - Behavior Technician - Work with Autistic Kids


Job Summary
Brighter Tomorrow Behavioral Services is growing, and we’re looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Behavior Technician in Randolph, NJ for a 3 1/2 year old male.

**This schedule will vary with location and hours: Mon & Wed 9:30a-11:00am at daycare in Morris Plains / then 12:15pm - 3:45p in the home in Randolph. Tue - Thu - Fri 12:15 - 5:15pm in the home (Randolph)

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to advance your career, we’ll be there every step of the way—including helping you pursue your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or even work toward becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

What You’ll Do:

  • Work one-on-one with clients in their homes.
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA
  • Collect and record data on client progress
  • Communicate with supervising BCBAs and provide updates to families
  • Foster growth, independence, and meaningful progress in the lives of the children we serve

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • A passion for helping others and a desire to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in psychology, education, or a related field
  • Prior experience in ABA, childcare, teaching, or working with children with special needs
  • Completion of a 40-hour RBT training (we can help with this!)
  • Willingness to complete and maintain RBT certification

This client is in the home and in the daycare in Morris Plains. Can you work this schedule?

You will work Monday and Wednesday 9:30am - 11:00am in the daycare in Morris Plains and then 12:15p - 3:45p in the home in Randolph.

Then on Tue - Thu - Fri you will work in the home in Randolph - 12:15pm - 5:15pm.
