Job Summary
We are seeking a Behavioral Therapist to join our team! In this role you will facilitate and implement group and individual therapies for children and adults with autism and other neurodivergences. If you are a high school graduate or higher who wants to make a difference in your community and your clients' lives, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to target socially significant behaviors.
- Implement ABA methods to improve clients' life and independence skills.
- Apply ABA techniques to reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with other service providers.
- Deliver behavior intervention plans, treatment plans, and behavior goals.
- Conduct data collection.
Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher preferred (high school diploma required)
- Bilingual, Spanish speaking preferred, but not required.
- Punctual, dedicated, and dependable individuals with a passion for helping others.
- Previous experience as a behavioral therapist preferred but not required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified
- Negative TB results
- Reliable transportation and valid CA drivers license
- Pass a criminal background check
- Availability: Must have AT LEAST Monday-Friday, 3 pm-8 pm available.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized

ABATS is a team of behavior professionals, Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and therapists, that believe that family comes first. Our company culture aims to make your ABA therapy experience comfortable, supported and easy to understand. Equipped with over 10 years of knowledge and experience our caring behavior technicians, BCBAs and Clinical Director develop and administer evidence-based individualized behavioral support and parent training for our families.
For years, ABATS has been an effective and creative, client-first, behavior therapy service for children and individuals with autism and/or other neurodivergences. We offer start-to-finish support including behavioral assessments, in-home and in-school ABA intervention, parent training, social skills groups and much more.
All of our clients are supervised by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who are paired specifically with each unique household. Our programs are developed within the current research methods of ABA, providing our clients with the greatest possible level of knowledge and support to increase independence and quality of life.
