Job Description - Benefits Support Aide

Integrated Labor Solutions (ILS) is seeking a customer-service focused Benefits Support Aide to join our team in San Diego, CA.   At ILS we pride ourselves on our ability to provide “Platinum Service,” which simply means we do our best to go above and beyond expectations to make sure our customers and clients receive the assistance that they need, anticipate any future needs, and make sure they are educated on the products and services we provide. 


 


Benefits Support Aides assist with the day-to-day operations by providing office support for the Benefits Support and Sales teams, as well as assist with “walk-ins”.

Office Hours:  Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm (in office)

Duties/Responsibilities:




  • Prepare and distribute benefits enrollment materials


  • Maintain inventory for office supplies and benefits materials

  • Receive and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages.


  • Basic data entry


  • Perform other duties as needed


 


Skills:




  • Active listening


  • Clear verbal and written communication


  • Flexible communication styles


  • Know how to efficiently navigate customer calls


  • Attention to detail


  • Time management


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.


 


Required:




  • High School Degree or equivalent


  • Must pass background and reference checks


  • Must be able to come into the office


  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds


  • Type at least 40 words per minute


  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
